Cows in the Meadow

The cattle truck unloaded and on its way
Most of our cows winter in Laramie and Nebraska. While we grieve for the hardships suffered by our neighbors to the east from the bomb cyclone and the subsequent flooding (an estimated one million calves dead in Nebraska alone), we are grateful that our cows made it home safe and sound. This is usually an event we take for granted, but not this year. You can see that we are still buried in snow, and wishing for spring!

Border collies bringing up the rear

Hungry cows are hitting the hay. We had to plow a path to the river so they could drink.
