Cows: on the road to Laramie

16 Nov

DSC_0630 We raise a lot of hay, and we use it all. We make big rounds for the cows who stay home and winter on those same meadows where the hay is raised. We make small squares for the sheep camps. AND we send some cows to Laramie to eat hay raised by a friend there. Now while most people don’t think of Laramie first when they are looking for a place to spend the winter, our cows like it just fine and come home fat and happy–and very pregnant.

I hunted on your property in the late ’90’s with a group from New Orleans. We stayed @ the old Ranchhouse & had a great time. I saw some of the most beautiful scenery & was able to harvest a 4×5 Muley. Great memories of that trip!
Also, I really enjoy the photos & remarks you post. I would like to post some of the pics on FaceBook with your permission.

    Respectfully,

It is fine to use photos. Please credit us and give the URL for the website. There’s still lots of deer and elk in the country.
