Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we have lot of new baby calves being born. We’ve had some fresh snow, but the temperatures are decent and the mamas are doing a good job. It warms the heart to see these new babies!

Sandhill Season on the Little Snake

When the Sandhill Cranes show up, we know it is a sure sign of spring. Some oversummer, and some stop by, then migrate northward. It is clear they are committed to the change of the seasons.
